Privacy policy

This page explains what information Tongue Depressor collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated October 16, 2026.

Who we are

AeroPlast Inc. (“we”), 175 Toscana Road, Woodbridge, Ontario L4H 2G1, Canada, operates this website under the name Tongue Depressor. We supply wooden tongue depressors, wax spatulas and stirrers. Sales and support are in Toronto, Canada. For anything in this policy, write to info@tonguedepressor.net.

What we collect

  • Quote request form. Your name, company, e-mail address, phone number (optional), the product, quantity, delivery country, sterilization and printing preferences, and any message you write.
  • E-mail, phone and WhatsApp. Whatever you send us when you contact us directly. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms. We see your number and your messages.
  • Campaign information. If you arrive from a link that carries parameters such as utm_source, your browser keeps them in session storage during your visit. We send them with your quote request so we know which campaign brought you.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to run and secure the site.
  • Analytics (only if you accept). If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how you use the site: pages viewed, clicks on our phone, e-mail and WhatsApp links, your country and device type, and an anonymous identifier stored in a cookie.

Why we use it

We use your details to answer your request, prepare a quote, produce and deliver an order, keep business records, and protect the site from spam. We do not sell your information. We send e-mail only in reply to your request, and we contact you about anything else only if you agree.

For visitors in the European Union, the legal basis is the preparation of a quote at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in running and securing this site and keeping business records (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For visitors in Canada, we rely on your consent, which you give when you send us a request or when you accept analytics. For analytics we also ask visitors in the European Union for consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which they can withdraw at any time.

Who receives it

Our manufacturing partner in Turkey may receive the details of your order (company, product, quantity, destination and artwork) so that it can be produced and shipped. Our website hosting and e-mail providers process data on our behalf. Shipping companies receive delivery details. Because of this, your information may be processed in Canada, Turkey, the European Union and other countries where these providers operate.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics, set up through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages and contact buttons are used. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept. Until then, Google’s tag may send cookieless signals: no cookies are read or written, but Google still receives technical details such as the page address and your browser type. If you decline, no analytics cookies are used and any that were set are removed.

We keep your choice in your browser’s local storage for 12 months. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and may do so in the United States and other countries. The site also stores campaign parameters in your browser’s session storage, as described above.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, write to info@tonguedepressor.net. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to the data protection authority in your country if you are in the European Union.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not directed at children.
